What is a CNA?

A Certified Nursing Assistant or CNA is one of the most important roles in the healthcare team. Their role is to assist not just the medical staff but patients as well. There is an incredibly high demand for CNAs and they have highly varied duties and roles. Do you have a passion to help others? Then take your first step into the rewarding Medical field.

What do you need to register?

• You must be at least 17 years of age.
• State or Military ID
• Social Security card
• By the 5th week of class we must have:
  • a Current COUNTY background check
  • Tuberculin Test (TB test)
  • employment drug screen.

Class Times

• SATURDAY 10am until 2:30pm ,  will be half in class , half online , 7 weeks of classroom accessable online /lab and 4 days of clinical rotation in a local nursing hom
• Total = 7 weeks 

What to Wear & Bring Daily

• A positive attitude!
• Uniform is black scrub top and black scrub bottom, with any kind of closed toed shoes.
• Bring a notebook, pen and highlighters to class daily. 
• Bring a manual stethoscope and blood pressure cuff.
• You are responsible for ordering your own textbook and workbook

  • Workbook: Hartman's Nursing Assistant Care: The Basics, Sixth Edition
  • We have the option of a LOANER textbook ONLY.

Additional Fees:

• ALL program LATE payment fees:   
  • $50.00 for weekly
  • $100.00 bi weekly
• Student Name Badge: $12 
  • (Badge replacement charge $25)
• Students must purchase textbooks, scrubs and study material, this is not included in tuition cost.
• Payment arrangement fee for ALL accounts NOT paid in FULL by Orientation Day will incur an additional:
  • One time fee of: $50.00 for weekly accounts
  • One time fee of: $100.00 biweekly for bi-weekly accounts

State Exam

The cost of the State Exam is $130.00 (seperate from tuition) due the last day of class on a debit card.

The total cost for this program is $1350, which includes a $450 non-refundable fee  deposit and 50 app fee (application and deposit). 

Option A - Pay in full $1350 , you will recieve an automatic link to begin class.

Option B - Pay $450 upfront for the application and deposit fee, followed by 7 weekly payments of $135.00 This includes a $50 fee for the payment arrangement. You will automatically recive the link to begin the online class.
