What is a Phlebotomy Technician?
A phlebotomist is a healthcare professional trained to draw blood from patients for medical testing, donations, or transfusions. They play a crucial role in diagnostic procedures by safely and efficiently collecting blood samples, which are then analyzed in laboratories to help diagnose medical conditions, monitor treatments, or perform blood donations.
What do you need to register?
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- State or Military ID
- Social Security card
- By the 5th week of class we must have:
- a Current COUNTY background check
- Tuberculin Test (TB test)
- employment drug screen
